You can also opt for the Camino Nicola Casa de las Guardas, which is just over 7 kilometres long, or the Fuente “El Porrejón” route, which is about 5 kilometres long. All routes are linear and can be enjoyed on foot or by bike. On these routes you will not only find the impact of nature, clean air and the flora and fauna of the area, you can also learn something of the history of the region, as is the case of the Horno de Brea, a place where this material was made from the stumps of pine trees, used as a sealant for roof tiles or boat hulls.

This museum, opened in 2000 and located in Matías Prats street, houses 1200 species of marine invertebrates including molluscs, corals and crustaceans. Visits are free and open to the general public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday. The Palaeontological Museum (https://turismo.estepona.es/lugares/museo-paleontologico/) includes an exhibition of minerals and rocks from the area around Sierra Bermeja, which is joined by a selection of fossils and marine molluscs from the Pilocene, beech forests in the basins of Malaga and Estepona and dated at more than 3 million years old. Necropolis of Corominas

The excavation that uncovered the site took place between 2001 and 2002. If you want to visit the Prehistoric Necropolis of Corominas it is necessary to make a reservation. The site is located on the outskirts of the town and unlike the museum, the visit has a price (Entrance 6€ – Children up to 8 years old: 3€ – Family pack – 2 adults + 2 children – 15€). Corominas is more than 5,000 years old and includes five very well preserved tombs.
